A 7-day creative retreat where designers, storytellers, and experience creators come together to experiment, learn, and grow—all in the breathtaking stillness of the Moroccan desert.

Through hands-on workshops, collaboration, and reflection, you’ll explore immersive storytelling, experience design, and new creative perspectives. Whether you’re here to refine your craft, unlock fresh ideas, or reconnect with your creative vision, this retreat is your space to create, connect, and transform.

  • Cultural Excursion: One day will be dedicated to exploring the beautiful surroundings of Ouarzazate, diving into Moroccan’s rich cultural heritage.

Where you will stay

The property, in the area called Tigilgilt (meaning "where the water flows") is primarily covered with approximately 1,600 olive trees and 900 date palms, along with a rich variety of endemic species from the region. It also includes 430 fruit trees (such as fig trees, plum trees, pear trees, peach trees, pomegranate trees, bitter orange trees), as well as various prickly pear cacti, cypresses, agaves, and tamarisks.

Tucked away in Skoura’s palm groves, the villa is a peaceful and inspiring place, blending traditional Moroccan charm with modern comfort. It features elegantly designed bedrooms, a private pool and lush gardens, creating the perfect setting for creativity and rest.

Located 30 minutes from Ouarzazate, Skoura is known for its stunning kasbahs and oasis landscapes, rich with olive trees, date palms, and fruit orchards.

You will benefit from a daily cleaning and in-house chef who will cook delicious Moroccan meals with fresh local ingredients.

Your Desert Hideaway

Villa Tigilgit is designed for comfort, connection, and creativity. Choose a private or shared bedroom, each with its own ensuite bathroom and private terrace, overlooking lush gardens, palm groves, and the open desert horizon.

Tucked away in Skoura’s oasis, this is a place to slow down, recharge, and let ideas flow. Evenings are spent gathering under the stars, sharing stories, and sparking new connections with like-minded creatives.

With space for up to 14 participants, this retreat is all about living, creating, and growing together in an extraordinary setting.

Shared Bedroom : book with a friend and share the adventure at a special rate.

Deluxe Suite : a private space to recharge while still being part of the collective experience.

Getting There

You can fly into one of the following airports:

  • Ouarzazate Airport (OZZ)
    The closest option, 30 minutes drive to the villa. We can easily get you a taxi or a private transfer.

  • Marrakech Airport (RAK)
    More frequent international flights, 4 hours drive to the villa. A private transfer can be organized.

Flights and transfers aren’t included in the retreat price, so you’ll need to book your own travel.

Whether you are a professional in the field or simply curious about immersive storytelling and experience design, this retreat offers a space for creative exploration, collaboration, and transformation.

  • No prior experience is required! The retreat welcomes both seasoned professionals and newcomers who are eager to explore immersive creation. The workshops are designed to be accessible, hands-on, and experiential, offering a balance of structured learning and open-ended exploration.

  • Yes, Morocco is generally a safe and welcoming country for travelers. Skoura and Ouarzazate, where the retreat takes place, are peaceful and quiet destinations known for their hospitality. As with any travel, we recommend taking standard precautions, and we will provide guidance on safe travel practices before your arrival.

  • Flights & Transportation

    Participants can fly into one of the following airports:

    • Ouarzazate Airport (OZZ)
      The closest option, 30 minutes drive to the villa. We can easily get you a taxi or a private transfer.

  • You have different options :

    • Shared room: 1290€/person
      You will stay in a shared bedroom, each featuring a private ensuite bathroom and a terrace. If you’re traveling solo, we’ll pair you with another participant, creating an opportunity for new connections and creative synergy.

    • Shared room with a friend : 1200€/person
      Bringing a friend? Book together and enjoy a special discounted rate. The perfect excuse to experience this journey alongside your work bestie or a like-minded collaborator.

    • Private room : 1890€/person
      A limited number of private rooms is available. You will enjoy the deluxe suite for yourself.

  • Payments can be made by Paypal, Revolut or bank transfer.
    A two- or three-installment payment plan is available.

    A 30% deposit is required to confirm registration.
    The remaining balance must be paid two months before the retreat begins.
    For bookings made less than two months in advance, full payment is required at the time of registration.

  • In case of cancellation due to international travel restrictions (such as a lockdown), a full refund will be issued.

    You may cancel your participation at any time. A refund will be issued minus cancellation fees*.
    To cancel, you must send an email to exploration.collective.retreats@gmail.com.
    The date of your email will determine the applicable cancellation fees.

    Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total retreat price
    (based on the rate confirmed at the time of registration) and depend on the cancellation timeframe:

    • More than 60 days before departure: 30% of the total retreat price + administrative fee*

    • Between 60 and 30 days before departure: 50% of the total retreat price + administrative fee*

    • Less than 30 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total retreat price + administrative fee*

    * A fixed administrative fee of €50 applies to all cancellations.

    No refunds or compensation will be provided for late arrivals at the retreat location.

  • We recommend bringing comfortable clothing for movement sessions, a notebook or journal, a reusable water bottle, and layers for cooler desert nights. Any specific creative materials or tools you’d like to work with during free time are also welcome! A full packing list will be sent before the retreat.
